This model is made entirely from European tonewood, drawn from our 2-star grade — material that has been naturally aged 3–5 years before reaching our bench. Even at this point, we continue aging the top and back plates for several additional months while the instrument is in semi-finished form.

Every instrument leaving our workshop is fully handcrafted in Guangzhou — no CNC machines, no shortcuts. This is what we have insisted on for nearly four decades, and it is what keeps our work where it belongs.

Founded in 1986 by master luthier Ming Jiang Zhu, our Guangzhou workshop has earned 21 awards from the Violin Society of America. Today, the workshop is led by Wei-xian Zhu — carrying forward his master's standards across every instrument we make.
